Rowing's one of those things that you either love or hate - the marmite/ vegemite of the cardio workouts world - often will you see rowing machines left unused in the gym, even at busy times. If you find rowing boring compared to other cardio workout options, don't perform it, but, rowing is a great all round exercise and you shouldn't tire of rowing when used sensibly in combination with other cardio gym equipment, such an example workout can be found below, which combines rowing with the upright bike and cross trainer. Enjoy!
The sample workout provided below is for someone of intermediate fitness. The workout can be made harder or easier as you see fit simply by increasing the pace or using the manual controls on your selected piece of cardio gym equipment to alter resistance, duration etc.
