L-Asparagine, even when spelt correctly ;-), is a highly unlikely search term, as it's not an added active-ingredient in any "wonder-potion" and it's produced by only a handful of manufacturers as an individual supplement. This does not mean it has no benefit, simply that no associated profitering claim has been made to commercialise its use as a supplement. Plus, we derive adequate quantities from the varied protein sources within most of our diets (as per most amino acids).

Anyway, back to the subject - L-Asparagine. Interestingly, amongst it's many functions - antibody functioning, conversion of aspartate for cellular function etc - the central nervous system requires L-Asparagine to maintain equilibrium - preventing us from extreme mood swings (either being too nervous, or, yes, being too calm).
