HYROX UK Race Schedule 2024 & 2025 Predictions
For fitness enthusiasts and functional fitness combatants, the HYROX UK competition is a highlight of the year. Combining strength, endurance, and the thrill of competition, HYROX events have become a staple in the fitness community calendar. If you're gearing up to join or simply looking to be a spectator, here's what you need to know about the HYROX UK competition schedule.
HYROX UK events will sell out! Quick!
Here's the crucial detail to understand - tickets will be snapped up in no time! If you have the opportunity to purchase tickets, don't procrastinate, or you'll be left behind. HYROX has become so sought-after that events can and do sell out a full day before they're even officially made available to the public.
How is it possible for a Hyrox Race to be fully booked before it's available to the general public? Hyrox Partner Gyms, such as ours, are granted a 48-hour early bird access. So, does this mean we are acquiring all the tickets(?). Absolutely not! Ever since we became a UK Partner Gym, the outlook of what is provided to us have been changed multiple times. Being a Hyrox affiliate, we are no longer provided with discounted tickets (which used to be a 10% discount), the overall ticket prices have risen, and ticket distribution is now restricted to 10 tickets per partner.
In truth, the 48-hour early bird ticket access for our members usually lasts for just a few hours before getting completely sold out. A case in point is the F45 Hyrox London event, which is scheduled from 29th November to 1st December 2024. Out of the permissible 10 partner spaces, we could only acquire 2 for our team in the initial hours. Less than a day later, and with over 24 hours left before the public launch, we managed to secure only 2 more charity tickets (which require raising a specific amount for the charity) for our members.
Hyrox have responded to demand by tagging on extra days to events. Hyrox Official Partner gyms have responded by offering Hyrox Race Simulations (local Hyrox races that do not qualify you for anything - they're for fun!). We offer this, in Bristol, and I believe Caveman Training put on similar events. Others will undoubtedly follow suit, if their venues allow.
The HYROX Event Year is Seasonal
The event schedule of Hyrox operates similarly to a football season or academic year, for instance, a 2023/2024 season. However, unless you qualify for the European's and World's, this doesn't have much relevance for most of us. Instead, the calendar years of 2023, 2024, or 2025, etc. might be more suitable.
When planning our year, including races, events, weddings, and so on, most of us will prefer to use a calendar year. This is especially true for those who use a physical, hard copy calendar.
The HYROX Races for 2024 Calendar Year:
MyProtein HYROX Manchester - 27th to 28th of January 2024
I have a good understanding of the Manchester Central venue, having attended Hyrox events and worked on a few FitXpo's. This venue, being the smallest among the official Hyrox venues, is situated in an old train station at the city's heart and boasts a unique charm. Although the course might not be the fastest due to the spectator crossings possibly causing delays in the runs segment and the carpet beneath potentially snagging the sled, the venue's incredible atmosphere makes it worth participating in.
HYROX Glasgow - 2nd to 3rd of March 2024
I am genuinely fond of the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) venue's appearance. The building's architectural design significantly contributes to creating a dramatic event and a feeling of grandeur, similar to Manchester Central. Although I haven't personally been to this venue, the reviews from Hyrox participants were quite positive.
HYROX London - 4th to 5th of May 2024
Several individuals from our group have participated in the Olympia. The course design has been modified a few times to allow more competitors, resulting in slightly varying run distances. The venue is quite appealing. However, I have not had the chance to witness a Hyrox at this location as it coincides with our North Somerset's Strongest Man competition.

Our very own event. I'd pitched a couple of venues to Hyrox for a South West race, but Manchester remains their smallest official UK venue. The Hyrox Bristol event was therefore set up by us (a Hyrox partner gym) to allow local racers to compete in a Hyrox Race Simulation, many not being able to get tickets to other UK race venues or not wanting (or affording) the trek to compete elsewhere. HYROX Birmingham - 25th to 27th of October 2024
The NEC being the biggest venue centre in the UK means the numbers for this one can far exceed any other event. This (Hyrox Birmingham) is new to the 2024 calendar, but will undoubtedly remain in the 2025 line up. We have many team members doing this one. Probably like you, I've attended a fair amount at the NEC and have worked it a couple of times, too. It's BIG! Maybe not as atmospheric as some of the other venues, but I guess you're there to race. You'll find us there at the FitXpo the following weekend, also.
HYROX Manchester - 9th to 10th of November 2024
Hyrox returns to Manchester for the second time in 2024. Be quick though, as tickets will sell out fast. Have you missed your opportunity? Check out the @theGym Hyrox, instead 🙂

Our race simulation returns! The biggest indoor race simulation from an official gym partner is back. This time, it features a winter games edition. F45 HYROX London (ExCel) - 29th November to 1st December 2024
The ExCeL Arena, not the Olympia, is the venue for this Hyrox because London and Birmingham are the only two cities in the UK with more than one suitable location for such an event. I guess opting for the second London event at the ExCel helps to distinguish the two London Hyrox race events. The F45 tag caused a little confusion at first release, but to clarify they (F45) have sponsored the event, which is why it's the F45 Hyrox London.
Speculation for HYROX Races 2025 Calendar Year:
Though partly conjectural, it's a frequent habit to reserve venues right after the previous one; moreover, it's a sound strategy to have events occur at similar times annually. From Hyrox's perspective, the regulations also somewhat restrict the appropriate venues, thus limiting the event's race schedule and cities. Consequently, the Bristol race simulation has been added to our calendar as a partner gym. I foresee another event in Birmingham emerging in 2025, but the ideal timing for this would be late-June, which is uncomfortably close to the October event at the same venue. Additionally, the NEC rental fees during this period are quite high, which might deter this from happening, unless there's a reshuffle in the schedule. The following are decent bets, with a possible variation of a weekend.
