As far as smith machines go, ATX have done an excellent job here. Yes, I'd rather have the heavier-duty ATX Smith Machine MPX-730 with lock-out rods and freeweight kit; however, for home-use, this version is superb. A bearing-housing smith bar which is smooth and comfortable to use, adjustable lift-offs on the free rack at the front, a multi-angle pull-up bar, and it's all offered in a space-saving design. For home-use, this is a great smith machine.
