The ATX Lateral Row Machine LRM-720 is a heavy-duty, plate-loaded rowing machine designed for powerful and controlled back training.
Independent iso-lateral lever arms allow both sides to be trained together or individually, while the progressive strength curve, adjustable seat and pivoting chest support deliver an effective and comfortable rowing movement. Rated for up to 250 kg and compatible with 50 mm Olympic weight plates.
The ATX Lateral Row Machine LRM-720 is a heavy-duty, plate-loaded rowing machine designed to develop a stronger, thicker and more balanced back. Its independently moving iso-lateral lever arms allow each side of the body to work separately, while the progressive strength curve maintains effective resistance throughout the rowing movement.
Part of the robust ATX 700 Series, the LRM-720 combines a substantial steel frame with an adjustable seat, adjustable pivoting chest support, multiple grip positions and a large anti-slip footplate. It is an excellent choice for demanding home gyms, personal-training studios and professional strength-training facilities.
The two lever arms move independently and feature separate weight-loading sleeves. This allows the machine to be used bilaterally, with both arms moving together, or unilaterally, with one side trained at a time.
Independent movement prevents the stronger side from compensating for the weaker side and can help identify and address muscular imbalances. Unilateral rows also allow greater focus on the working muscles and provide additional exercise variety within a single plate-loaded row machine.
The geometry of the ATX LRM-720 produces a progressive strength curve, with resistance developing through the rowing motion. This encourages a strong, controlled contraction as the handles are pulled towards the body.
Combined with the machine’s generous range of movement, the lever-arm design provides an effective training stimulus for the latissimus dorsi, rhomboids, trapezius, rear deltoids and elbow flexors.
A substantial chest pad helps stabilise the upper body and reduces the opportunity to generate momentum through the lower back. This enables the user to concentrate on controlled shoulder-blade movement and effective back-muscle contraction.
The chest support is adjustable and able to pivot, allowing it to adapt naturally to the user’s position and absorb pressure throughout the exercise. Laser-cut position markings make it easier to record and repeat preferred settings.
An additional positioning handle is located behind the chest pad, providing a secure support point when performing one-arm rows.
The ergonomically shaped seat can be quickly adjusted in height using a secure locking pin. Laser-cut numbering makes individual settings easy to identify, which is particularly useful when the machine is shared by multiple users.
Correctly adjusting the seat and chest support helps align the handles with the user’s preferred pulling path and accommodates a wide range of body sizes.
The independent rowing arms incorporate two different handle positions, allowing the user to vary hand orientation and exercise emphasis. Each handle has a substantial 30 mm diameter and features grip-enhancing knurling for secure control throughout heavy pulling movements.
The alternative grips provide greater training variety and make it possible to target the upper and mid-back musculature from different angles.
The LRM-720 features a large steel footplate angled at approximately 10 degrees. Its textured anti-slip surface provides a secure base from which to brace and generate force during each repetition.
The combination of the footplate, chest support and adjustable seat creates a stable training position, allowing the user to focus on the rowing movement rather than maintaining balance.
Each lever arm has its own chrome-plated loading sleeve for standard 50 mm Olympic weight plates. Plates can be loaded evenly for conventional two-arm rows or adjusted independently for unilateral and imbalance-correction work.
With a maximum loading capacity of 250 kg, the ATX Lateral Row Machine provides ample progression for advanced strength athletes as well as less experienced users.
Weighing approximately 65 kg, the ATX LRM-720 uses a stable steel frame engineered to withstand demanding strength training. Its strategically designed structure provides a generous range of movement without obstructing the path of the lever arms.
Anti-slip rubber feet increase stability while helping protect the gym floor. The matt-black finish and precision-cut adjustment details give the machine a clean, professional appearance suitable for both private and professional training environments.
The ATX Lateral Row Machine LRM-720 is independently certified to EN 20957 I, II and IV – Class S, confirming its suitability for professional use when operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
