I'd say it's a fair appraisal that I was unsure of the Delta Dumbbells, when we introduced them at the FIBO show...in fact, I'm still not sure now. I personally prefer a decent set of orthodox dumbbells, such as the ATX Bumper Dumbbells or Urethane; however, there are many that absolutely love the Delta Dumbbells...we've even shipped out full-sets to the USA. The Delta Dumbbells are best described as a hybrid dumbbell/ kettlebell, as the exercises covers what would typically be performed with one or the other. Here's the spiel...

The handle of the Delta Dumbbells rotates, which reduces the strain on the wrist. The mass focus is clearly in front of the wrist in a variety of exercises, This gives more muscle contraction over a much larger movement. The integrated cushioning roller (wrist guard) restricts the movement at the maximum apex of the exercise, Further, the wrist is stabilized at the apex. The rotatable handle, with the free-swinging weight block, automatically requires correct and controlled exercise coordination. With the ATX® Delta Dumbbells, a variety of functional exercises are possible in addition to the classic dumbbell exercises. The ATX® Delta Dumbbells thus enable numerous new training stimuli.
