The 2.5kg ATX Colour Stripe Olympic Gripper Plate is a compact, easy-to-handle weight plate designed for controlled progression during strength training. Adding one plate to each side of a barbell increases the total training weight by 5kg, making it an essential addition to a complete Olympic weight plate set.

Compatible with standard 50mm Olympic barbells and plate-loaded gym equipment, this versatile plate is suitable for home gyms, personal training studios, schools and commercial fitness facilities.

The plate combines a finely cast iron core with a thick, high-quality natural rubber coating. This durable finish helps protect the plate, surrounding equipment and gym flooring during normal handling, while also reducing noise when compared with traditional iron plates.

Practical Dual-Grip Design

Two opposing grip openings make the plate easier to pick up, carry and load onto a barbell or resistance machine. The practical design also allows the plate to be used independently for exercises such as plate raises, weighted carries, warm-ups and functional strength movements.

A stainless-steel centre ring allows the plate to slide smoothly onto and off Olympic barbell sleeves. Its 50.4mm internal diameter provides compatibility with standard 50mm Olympic bars and most commercial plate-loaded strength equipment.

The raised ATX branding and weight marking provide clear identification, while the distinctive recessed twelve-sided design gives the plate a strong commercial appearance.
