Each pressing arm is powered by its own 75 kg stack, allowing the two sides to move and load independently. A smooth Kevlar-reinforced belt drive, counterbalanced movement arms and supportive adjustable seating deliver a comfortable, controlled press with excellent chest engagement.
Its efficient footprint is comparable with a conventional selectorised chest press and requires considerably less operational space than many plate-loaded iso-lateral stations.
The JAWS Prime TWIN-FORCE™ Chest Press combines the independent movement of an iso-lateral plate-loaded press with the convenience, accessibility and speed of a selectorised machine.
Instead of linking both pressing arms to one central weight stack, the TWIN-FORCE™ system gives each arm its own dedicated 75 kg stack. The left and right sides can therefore move and be loaded independently, allowing bilateral, alternating and single-arm chest pressing without requiring users to handle weight plates.
The independent movement arms allow each side of the upper body to contribute separately. This helps prevent the stronger arm from automatically compensating for the weaker side and makes the machine particularly useful for balanced strength development, unilateral training and identifying left-to-right differences.
Users can press with both arms together, alternate sides or work one arm at a time. Each stack can be selected independently, providing considerably more training flexibility than a conventional single-stack chest press.
The iso-lateral movement arms follow a natural converging path as the handles travel forwards. This creates a strong, comfortable pressing action with excellent engagement through the chest, while the guided movement provides stability and repeatability from one repetition to the next.
Counterbalanced movement arms reduce the unloaded starting resistance, making it easier for users to move safely into position before beginning their working set.
The production machine uses a fully belt-driven transmission with Kevlar-reinforced belts. This provides a smooth, direct transfer of resistance from each weight stack to its corresponding movement arm.
Compared with conventional cable transmission, the reinforced belt system offers low elasticity, consistent resistance and a precise response as the training load increases.
The supportive backrest, head pad and adjustable seat help users establish a secure pressing position. Adjusting the seat height allows the handles to be aligned appropriately for users of different heights and helps create a comfortable pressing angle.
The stable seated position allows the user to concentrate on the pectorals, anterior deltoids and triceps without needing to stabilise loose weights or manage a barbell.
The JAWS Prime TWIN-FORCE™ Chest Press provides many of the training benefits associated with a plate-loaded iso-lateral press while retaining the everyday practicality of a pin-loaded machine.
There are no weight plates to load, unload or return to storage, and no projecting plate horns requiring additional clearance. Its footprint is comparable with that of a conventional commercial chest press, making it easier to accommodate within busy strength areas.
